Our Mission
Wayfind Trip exists to help travelers move beyond the ten-item checklist version of a destination. Every guide we publish, whether it's Istanbul, Cappadocia, or wherever we cover next is built to answer the questions people actually have before they land: what a place really feels like, what's worth your time, what to eat, and how to move through it without wasting a day figuring things out. We're not here to sell you a tour package. We're here to make sure that by the time you book anything, a flight, a cruise, a room, a balloon ride at sunrise, you're doing it with a clear picture of what you're walking into.
Our Goal
We're building Wayfind Trip into a home base for planning trips across a growing list of destinations starting with Turkey, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Bali, Malaysia, and South Africa, with more added as we go.
The goal isn't to be the biggest travel site out there. It's to be the one you trust enough to come back to before every trip.
About Me
I'm Sola Erdo, the person behind Wayfind Trip. I spent years working as a travel agent before stepping into this role full-time as a travel advisor and content creator, which means my job now is less about booking your flight and more about helping you actually understand where you're going before you get there.
I'm based in Istanbul, Turkey, which is honestly the perfect home base, a city that sits between two continents and puts half the world within reach. Travel and exploring new cultures isn't just what I write about, it's what I've built my life around, and Wayfind Trip is where all of that comes together: the destination knowledge from years in the travel industry, a genuine love of discovering new places, and a growing list of guides, tours, and resources to help you do the same.
While Istanbul is home right now, Wayfind Trip won't stay confined to one city, I'm building this to grow into travel and tours around the world, one destination at a time.
